Arrivals

We took ds to Legoland yesterday - a hot day. And when we got back there was the email from Jeannie with everyone's addresses - we're ready to start swapping! I also got a slip through the door saying that I've got a parcel - and the only thing I'm expecting is the Holly & Ivy. ds wants to collect it with me and our first opportunity will be when he gets back from bellringing this morning with dh. Fingers crossed.

Whilst dh and ds have been away, I've been getting the parcels ready. I worked backwards down the list as a kind of countdown and now I only have 7 to go. But they need me to do some knitting. I might knit an extra one rather than send the mitered square - because it isn't quite square and because I might knit another 3 for my blanket's corners. So, I have 17 envelopes waiting to be posted and to sail across the Atlantic to many corners of the USA, to arrive in a maximum of 8 weeks time. This will be within the Swap deadline of 1st September.
